Originally from Southern California, Jackie split her time between Los Angeles and Taiwan, and is fluent in both English and Mandarin. Stan Yan is a true local of the San Gabriel Valley and East LA with a diverse background in both the film and advertising industry as well as real estate. With over 10 years of experience in these fields, Stan brings a unique perspective and skill set to the table. His passion for the arts started at the University of California – Berkeley, where he earned a double major in Film Studies and Studio Art.
After graduation, Stan took his talents abroad and spent 3 years in Busan, South Korea. He earned a Masters in Digital Design at Kyungsung University, taught as a professor of Media Studies, and participated in the Asian Film Academy. This experience gave him a global perspective on the industry and added to his already rich knowledge of the art.
When he is not working, Stan indulges in his passions for film, photography, music, art, pop culture, history, sports, architecture, food, travel and fatherhood. He is an obsessive learner and always looking to expand his horizons.
